Biography
Cherie Mendez is a New York based actress. TV credits include CBS's The Equalizer, Blue Bloods, and BULL. Her work opposite James Denton (Desperate Housewives) in "Revelation Road: The Black Rider" has been profiled on The Today Show. She won "Best Supporting Actress" for her role as "Claire" in the dark comedy "Rubber Room" at the Long Island International Film Expo. Cherie also had the honor of working opposite Dylan Baker in psychological drama HUNTERS starring Al Pacino.
She got her start in acting when she landed a scene with Hugo Weaving (Matrix) in the 1970’s throw back thriller - THE KEY MAN. She is a graduate of the two year Meisner program at William Esper Studio.
All the years of traveling as a fashion model gave Cherie a love for exploring different cultures – to this day she still enjoys all the colors and flavors New York City has to offer.
Cherie lives on the lower east side of Manhattan with her husband Jimmy.
